Security & Privacy Policy

PV Direct takes your privacy seriously and takes every reasonable precaution to safeguard the personal information you supply to us. The privacy and security of the information collected from you is a priority to us. As with nearly all websites, uses cookies to gather information to enhance your online experience with us. Below is information to help you understand cookies and their role in your internet experience.

Our Security Policy
There is nothing more important to us than your own online security. So at PV Direct, we guarantee that every order you make on our website is safe and secure. We make every effort to ensure your transactions are safe and your personal information is secure. We use the latest SSL security systems to make our website safe and secure – any personal information you enter including your name, address and credit/debit card details are all securely encrypted before transmission. That means any data passed between your computer and us cannot be read by hackers, spammers, fraudsters or any other known cyber threat.

Fraud protection policy
Identity theft and credit card fraud is a serious problem to which we are all vulnerable. Therefore, for our mutual protection all orders are subject to PV Direct verification procedure.

You may be asked to verify that you are the cardholder or that the order information is legitimate. This may include a request for a copy of your credit card (front and back), household bill or other form of identification. Should your order be subject to verification you will be notified by telephone or email.

PV Direct reserve the right to refuse an order when the address or credit card is not verifiable. In this event a refund will be issued via the same method used to make your payment.

Card fraud is illegal and perpetrators will be prosecuted in ALL cases.

MasterCard SecureCode and Verified by VISA
For added protection against unauthorized use of your credit or debit card online, you can register your card in MasterCard SecureCode or Verified by Visa schemes. This will enable you to set a personal and private code for all your online transactions. Its simple and easy to register and it happens as part of our standard checkout process. When your card issuer has confirmed who you are, you will be asked to choose a password to use every time you shop online with anyone who has signed up to the scheme.

We think it is such an important security measure that if you are not already registered or you do not register when prompted it will be unlikely that we accept your order. This protects you and us against unauthorized use of your credit/debit card.
